Whoever has grown old

Though we look very bold,

Despite the decline of powers

With every hour of prayers

 to the very end a life goes on

Expanding and increasing

the endless network of relationship

of mutual love and connection,

And how so long as memory

 Remains alert, nothing of

What passes and is past is ever lost.

The alchemy of reminiscence

 is an art of relationship, love

 Connectivity and understanding

 across the entire route of life.

In the second half of life,

 our task is to fully embrace time,

not to feel regret over lost time.

In this sense, reminiscence is a means

to heal our relationship

and connection with our time.
