MARGIE'S MEMORIES

On Margie's white walls...

Pictures of her husband and sons hung in a row...

She pulled out her precious box...

Inside held memories...

Medals, ribbons, and more small photographs...

Staring back at her were the eyes and smiles they shared together...

Seems like just yesterday she sighed...

They were all killed...

Wars they had to fight and make her proud...

To prove the love they had for her and their country...

The war took her husband and one son...

Friendly fire took her youngest of them all...

Another box...

Holding all the flags they give in honor of the fallen...

I am a proud wife and mother she cried...

Putting back her memories...

In her precious memory box...

Hugs...

YOU NEVER LIED, YOU NEVER DIED

I remember that day...

The first time we actually talked without sight...

Without sound...
