MARILYN MONROE / NORMA JEAN BAKER

MARILYN MONROE / NORMA JEAN BAKER

To her parents she was Norma Jean Baker
But when she became Marilyn Monroe nobody could mistake her
Who would have thought when she was a little kid
That Norma Jean would turn out the way she did

Curves in the right places and natural blonde hair
An adoring public worshipped Marilyn who had love to share
Bobby Kennedy seized his opportunity and used his power
For Marilyn this would be when her career went stale and sour

What really happened the night Marilyn died ?
Shrouded in mystery as men worldwide wept and cried
Marilyn was found naked lying on her bed
Killed by a drug overdose a hospital spokesman said

Marilyn Monroe's death was 55 years ago the history books say
The reason behind her death will come out I'm sure one day
