Martini Haven

Martini Haven

When I was just eleven, we bought an expensive house;

My Father was a legend, at selling sportswear and fine blouse!

My Mother was in show biz, and loved her daily drink;

So our signpost read, “Martini Haven”, which tickled people pink!

For they knew that when they stopped by, the spirits freely flowed;

Oft times they’d leave real tipsy, before they hit the road!

My Father was born on Christmas, and each year we had a bash;

With a large buffet of goodies, and much liquor to get you smashed!

Saturday night they went out to party, at one of two great clubs;

Each one had noted entertainers, with whiskey and great grub!

Now sixteen, I’d be in my bedroom sleeping, as the clock struck three a.m.;

My mother would fling my door open, and yell, “come out and party” with them!

You see, the clubs both closed at 2:30, but lots of people were not through;

So they’d drive right out to our house, and the entertainers would come too!

The music would be blasting, as I came into the room!

One night they’d brought the “Go-Go Girls”, which made my heart go zoom!

Three gorgeous buxom ladies, a teenage fantasy;

We danced for two straight hours, each one took turns with me!

I fell in love quite quickly, they thought that I was cute;

I was afraid I’d be embarrassed, by my hardened throbbing root!

There were several parties that happened, another that I loved;

Was when they brought home the well known “Kim Sisters”, three beauties from above!

With the faces of an angel, and black hair down to their waist;

Again we danced for hours, as my heart and manhood raced!

One night was very special, for “Carol Channing” was our guest;

She was in town for “Hello, Dolly”, the role she knew the best!

My Father gave her some stretch pants, for he had such elegance of touch;

The next week she sent a telegram, thanking him so much!

These memories to me are sacred, those days of treasured yore;

When men all dressed in finery, and jewels and minks ladies wore!

I never shall forget them, star studded symphonies from my past;

At the place called “Martini Haven”, where life moved very fast!

Hi Debs,

Yes, young and innocent, surrounded by partying adults, who made me their little darling.  My most beautiful memories of growing into manhood.   Thanks you for your lovely comments.  They mean a lot.

Hugs, Peace and Love,

I loved reading this one as it showcases a part of your life! I wish I had been there too. Your mum and dad sound wonderful and fun to know and I love that film too. Well done for a superbly entertaining and interesting piece. Your talent is amazing and thank you for giving us a glimpse into your life as a teenager.

I love you both dearly
