Mary

Mary

A gaunt woman who cries in the night night night
Might catch a fright,  so tight tight tight
For her throat swells red, bright red red red
Thrown out by a wind from her bed, bed bed
Why me Lord, why me, me me
A lost fish in a wild sea sea sea
With a hand that reaches for the Lord in vein, vein vein
Swallowed up by an ocean causing  pain pain pain
Until no more at the bottom Mary stood, so still stood stood
Her heart dropping blood like a tree sap wood, wood would
For a vast ocean now red, far and wide, wide wide
The day Mary, lady of the ocean,  had cried cried cried
A tale is told of this death one frightful day
For a truth be told that will naught go away
