The first taste of you,
Is when i was an 8 year old child,
Coming from the hands of a,
Careless, wreckless mother obviously wild...

Being taught this was okay,
Drained my numb heart,
25 years alone and so today,
I'm making a brand new start...

Mary Jane you infected,
My heart and soul, 
Leaving me neglected,
It's time i break your mold...

I'm tired of running,
Toward you when i feel empty inside,
Your lies are so cunning,
I give you up because love is by my side...

An angel so sweet,
Has come into my life,
Now i dont have to live in defeat,
Cuz i can share with her my strife...

A man of his word,
Is not easy to find,
But the truth of the sword,
Pierces heart, body, and mind...

I weigh my decisions,
In the palm of my hands,
Weed i cut out like an incision,
No longer of my life you'll have demands...

To all those who i have led astray,
Young boys and girls,
Up until this day i pray,
That you'd find the same conviction to break the curse in your life as well...

So look into my eyes,
And find,
This change is now made,
Because of it i'll prosper in time...
