Matters In Hand

Diplomacy forgotten as forces come into play,
To make more of craft and graft to end dismay.
In heart, and mind, emotion easily transferred,
To reap a reward, for that long since deferred.

Catching up with what has been felt overdue,
Means an explosive mix of abandoning view.
Lost to worlds, caught in whirlwind of change,
Rude awakening to reality brings will to range.

Forgotten are worries, about wrong and right,
With torrid excess taking time to assess night. 
For desire all is forsaken to feel ways of heat,
Beyond what sits in a factual meet and greet.

Standing for irrational commitment to a cause,
Loving path become truth of all denying rouse.
In loss of control, much comes of this nothing,
To breed something aspiring to be everything.
