- When your strings of love
- Were being tuned,
- my beloved,
- Begin your celestial music,
- Â Let me forget the agony,
- Let me feel your beauty
- Â What you had poured
- Into my tender heart,
- The longing for night
- Â Lingers at my doors,
- May you be ready to
- Embrace me in your arms,
- Pour into my life strings,
- My beloved,
- Â In tunes that descend
- Â From your twinkling stars
