ME IN THE MIRROR

I looked in the mirror and thought this is meĀ
I am no other person that really is plain to see
Just an ordinary looking man without any features
Some would say I'm one of life's plain looking creatures

My face dear friends is neither round nor squareĀ
On top of my head is so very little hairĀ
In front of my eyes is where my glasses sitĀ
I notice in my reflection my jawline is sagging a bit

The worry lines and wrinkles are also starting to appear
Hair under my nose and coming out of my earĀ
So this for sure is the only face that I've gotĀ
Hardly an oil painting I'm afraid or beauty spotĀ

Ā
