Poem -

Meant to be together

I wish you knew me
Like I long to know you
I wish you'd pursue me
Oh the things I want to do!

Like cupping my hands
Surrounding your face
My kiss it lands
On an unfamiliar place

A heavenly scent
Your smooth flesh
I come unbent
When we start to mesh

Oh pleasure we seek
But love we really look for
The same taste next week
Because we want more

A tantalizing whisper
In your ear
A playful purr
For only you to hear

So follow me now
And maybe forever
It could end up somehow
That we were meant to be together

There's a beautiful longing in this poem Elissa and I find I get enveloped in the romantic vision you create. Really lovely.

Elissa!  I agree with Marc but would like to add that there is a subtle sensuality to this write.  You mention touch, smell, taste…these senses certainly ignite passion…smoldering slowly.  Great write!
