Meditation

I can feel my heart beat

I can hear the cars on the street

My mind is too busy, my concentration starting to retreat

Come back mind, relax, concentrate be present

I take a deep breath and remember the lesson

I can slowly feel the stillness come in

My mind has gone quiet, no more listening to that din

Golden light, shining all through my body

The eternal universe cleansing my soul

But this is not for me, giving is the goal

For when I give, I receive, this life is for serving

The more we give the more we are learning.
