Melody Fair

All the leaves are brown and the sky is grey,
but the rounabout turns forever on a winter's day,
the riders hang from their reins suspended in the sky,
they may turn around to smile at you and wave goodbye.
Once the seat is empty, then another dream is in the race,
to let you wander thro' your mind and keep up the pace,
they dream of magical things and distant strange lands,
where horses are turning, to see if your hanging by your hands.
It never stops to let you off, knows when you've had enough,
will leave you from your dreams when the going gets tough,
when nothing seems to be going right and all may be llost,
but when you're in the air, you can no longer count he cost.
No one can touch you, perhaps even never bring you down,
beccause your clever forever with the smile of a clown.
