Memories of Lost Beauty

As kids we played in surrounding fields,but many are there no more
 Developers building retail  parks and houses by the score
Pleasant walks that we once enjoyed,that we did at our own leisure
 Will soon be distant memories,only ones to treasure
I love to see the sunrise,and the beauties to reveal
 To brighten up your everyday,the feeling is quite surreal
To have these treasures lost to man,would surly be a shame
 The sights and sounds that we once knew,in our memories,will always remain
