MENTAL HEALTH

MENTAL HEALTH

Now everyone's on the 'fiddle' making false  claims,
I could give them a list of all my aches and pains;
I said that: 'My head was not in the right place,'
you don't know what it's like to just 'lose your face.'

Children manufacture 'syndromes' because don't want to do,
everything becomes 'boring' if it doesn't suit you;
this is a tough world and they must get arse into gear,
otherwise their adult performances will be nowhere near.

Someone said that if he was disabled he'd 'top' himself,
I saw a quadriplegic who smiled just sitting on a shelf;
how lucky we are to have some semblance of normality,
be thankful because your selfish luck may run out one day.

I 'checked my stride' - a friend held a pint with a mutant hand,
however, it was of no consequence - his persona was grand.

Ah, so very true, life can change for any of us in a mere moment, yes we do take for granted all that we do have, this has such power and beauty the message is wonderful. Putting one's self in the shoes of another that perhaps is less fortunate can be a true lesson in life. 🌹
