Mercury

Mercury

Mercury, mercury,
I have poison in my body.
Hercules, Hercules,
God's strength I have up in me.
Depending depending and hoping,
Waiting for a miracle.
Come get me 'cause my God I'm feeling terrible.
The spirit's strong and the flesh is weak.
I'm either gonna break or I'm gonna tweak.
It's been about 7 weeks,
Mercury, mercury,
Can't stay up on my feet.
Hurtin' me, hurtin' me,
But I'm not shaking like a leaf.
Mercury, mercury,
Got that shit up in me deep.

Hey FLORA-BELLE!!......so good to see you back on the pages......I agree with Marion here....there is a kind of franticness being portrayed.....and of course it should be....after all, it's "Mercury" you're writing about....also known as 'Quicksilver'!!.....VERY well crafted!!......ALL STARS & PINNED!!....well done dear poet sister!!......LOVE & ROCKETS!!......T xo  : )
