Embolden wayward tide
Opulent aqueous bride
Tears thou weep for me
Encompass a brackish sea

Mine mermaid sweet
I humbled in defeat
Briny waters beckon me
To folds of incessant sea

Serenade a siren song
Hasten to where I belong
We are destine to dance
An infinite epic romance

Waves crescendo ashore
Guiding wiry sailor yore
Naught a single breath
Ensuing mere death

Hush beloved ne’er weep
Haunting Poseidon’s keep
Humanity barded, unitary fin
Bestowed I phosphorous skin
