Merry Christmas

Oh such beauty: and oh such joy; and she smiles a blue ribbon;

And he dances such bliss; and symbol green—the scent of pine;

And such to wrap; and such to give; and lights flicker—a

Flame of sparks; and pose the joy—a portrait art; and candy

Canes—a sticky rug; and juice stains—a silent nudge; and

Mother cooks; and father bakes: a turkey rich: the sweetest cakes;

And silent screams—plague the soul; and music fey—a mental

Scroll; and hear the love—a vision blue: a house of warmth—a

Portrait true; and heart to mind—a moment rare: to knit the soul,

And braid the hair; and little boys—sing and yell; and little

Girls—ring the bell; and mother sips; and father toaks; and tear

To rug, a present broke; and father smiles, and wipes a tear; and

Mother sighs, and tugs an ear; and spirit soars, a vocal myth;

And children vie—to gain a kiss.
