MERRY CHRISTMAS

You lit the star that claimed my heart

And as it stood high above the tree

The decorations glittered brightly

The way Christmas time should be

The snow piles high on the grass

It glitters like diamonds in the sun

As we watch the children laugh and play

We feel a connection and peace with everyone

As we sit at the Christmas table

With our family, and our many friends

We are reminded of another child

Who gave his life for all our sins

When the twilight casts its evening shadow

Upon the Christmas lights outside

The moon shines down upon a silent evening

As another beautiful year goes passing by…
