Merry-go-round shows
If my poetry always rhymes then thatās just the way it has to be
It isnāt really my fault whatās in my head frankly
Whilst I like to write about my life, what happens day to day
My subconsciousness has to rhyme and verse everything radically
It has become such a habit of mine as I am certain you will know
To recite all about my happenings from wherever I do go
I think I should probably change itās name from āLife in Verseā
To perhaps something more factual like āJillās tales of traverseāĀ
Or what about āJust Jillās blogsā that would fit the bill
well thereās loads of potential titles that would all be brill
Mind you does it really matter what my poetry page should be
Coz at the end of the day itās just abit of fun for me
I sit, I think, I jot it down
Sometimes it makes me happy
or I might wear a frown
But thatās just like life with itās highs and lows
An abundance of fairground merry-go-round shows...

Ā And āJillās tales of traverseā is a real pick me up of words which is so apt and fun to read and never a truer or poignant choice of words expressed.
A great fun and bubbly read and to be honest one that possibly reveals the true you, written from your good heart and as you say and can agree with your poem with your superbĀ words which dare say strike a chord with many on here...
