Mexican Food

A gathering of familiar faces,
Bunch of shouted long time no see,
Love and hugs touching embraces,
Little peculiar for this screwy disconnected family.

Good thing we all picked this restaurant,
To mask some of the loud embarrassing voices,
Mostly the goofy uncle and crazy aunt,
Who we love anyway even after all their poor choices.

Kids have long finished eating now and do laps around the table,
Everyone reminiscing and catching up,
Arguments amongst rivalries about who is more well off and stable,
Cheers we toast all raising a cup.

Life is hard times are tough but can be good,
It brought us all together to enjoy this delicious Mexican food.
