Midnight Ghost Ship

Midnight Ghost Ship

In the midnight hour there came a light
Which pierced the vail from the tower on the hill
Leading a ship to shore which sailed years before
With deadmens chants and witches brew
The Captain was dead and so was the crew
Yet their restless souls did return
For the gold they did earn
With blood of tradesmen on their sword
They came in search of their lost reward
Alas the picks and shovels did clatter
Yet their crystal dreams did shatter
Groans of dead men found no appeal
Their treasure was gone o restless zeal
So to their ship they did return
Finding no rest with ores and stern
Then came a graveyard laughter
From the tower on the hill
For the treasure they searched after
Dead men's treasure she did steal
While the ship was lost at sea
