Midnight Sky

Midnight Sky

blackbird upon midnights sky
haunting husk

fragile emotional boneyard

hang over a black sky

red eye

foresee through the veil of ghosts

where the wild orchards grow

perched upon

branches of hope

bleeding scarlett heart

lifeless leaves falling with abandonment

preying to the heartbeat of the giving tree

circling the nest of redemption

blackbird caw to the rising dawn

fly reborn
