Poem -

midsummer breeze.

Shadows of grace
fall silently across the path in the night
Touching what it can
Within its strength of reach
From the overhead shinning moonlight
Dancing upon the windy trees
A tango for the world to see
Whispering darkness
Hustling endless echoing
Within the midsummer breeze
Not every soul is sleeping
A tender angel
Sits weeping looking down upon her feet
Alone in the shadows of the park
Afraid of the tears that fall
Silently within the dark
Lost her way
Before the sun had gone to sleep
A memory of home
A fallen angel does weep
Only the shadows
watching over her
If only they could speak
This little lonely angel
Cold lost and weak
May have had the answers
Within the whispering tree's
Even their beautiful tango
Goes unnoticed without ease
Just the falling tears
Within the midsummer breeze.
