‘Mighty oaks from little acorns grow’ 💕

‘Mighty oaks from little acorns grow’ 💕

I planted a tiny acorn and watered it with love and care..but that was over forty years ago, I simply forgot that it was there..

In the corner of my garden down beyond my potting shed.. the one thats full of my handy tools to tend my flower bed

Well forty years or more has passed since I hid that little acorn in the earth.. I am proud to tell you that little acorn grew with all it’s worth..

I have the healthiest hardwood oak tree that I absolutely love.. I perched my wooden bench below its leafy canopy above..

As I sit there each and every moment that I can ..reminiscing a much younger me sprinkling my tiny acorn with a wateringcan..

I never ever thought for one single minute that my little acorn would be seen.. but there you go apparently they say my fingers must be green..

Whilst there is a certainty that my oak tree will out live me.. growing taller with a greater girth  for my next generation to see..

It tells the tales and stories since the day that I was wed.. listening to all the glories that my childrens children said..

So please believe me when I tell you something you should know.. I can confidently say for sure “Mighty oaks from little acorns grow”
