Poem -

The Mind Outmarches The War

Different worlds...........Different ages
      converge.
Diversity in pasts and perceptions
       produces an exhilarating mixture.

Emotions ignited.
        Feelings soar.

Reactions induced
         Defenses raised.

Words uttered.
Phrases of love and phrases of malice,
          none understood but everlasting.

Reality ignored.
Moments of euphoria fighting to be
            restored.

Memories garnered, times remembered
for no more than what they were.

Different worlds and different ages.
An explosive, destructive, exciting experiment with a
             magical elixir.

Illusion of the potion fades.

A bittersweet residue remains.
An ache for the elixirs return,
              and,
an unending quest for the answers
              to unanswerable
              questions.

Different worlds..........different ages
              No bonding paradise to share?

              Things.
              Change.

          Glorious dreaming moments are lost
          to painful disillusioning hours.
The warriors of the heart grow weary,
the soldiers of the mind are marching toward victory......
