Mine

Blood rivulets flowing down,

Dripping on the floor,

Bend down, wipe the effluent off,

The bundle moves in reflex.

Smirk at it in contempt,

Inhale deeply of the fear,

Bend down once more,

Issue forth sadistic laugh,

As it cringes further away.

Crawling into the corner,

Seeking safety…

Follow its inch by inch retreat.

Relish the pain and distress.

Power surging through veins,

Magnanimously stand and scrutinise.

Maybe lesson is learnt…

Chuckle heartlessly, whilst flexing my muscles.

She always learns,

But I change the rules every time,

Keep her in her place,

She is mine,

To subdue and control.

I do love her, really,

She must just obey and know her place.

Walk back once more,

Watch as she tries to climb through the wall.

Gently stroke her back,

At first she cringes,

Then licks and eagerly seeks,

My now loving touch.

This bitch is almost subdued.

Soon she will be the perfect dog.

Sometimes, I wish I could control my temper.

I might just then become the perfect owner…

I mean companion.

Pierces my heart,
