MIRROR

People gazing in the mirror,
Trying to find themselves, an ongoing test.
Yet, what if the mirror, in reverse,
Gazed upon people, what tales would immerse?
Reflections of dreams, rebellious sparks,
A symphony of souls in the dark.
Or perhaps, a scene of fright,
Darker than the holiest night.
Imagine if the mirror could speak,
Of hearts shattered, fragile, and weak.
Smiles exchanged from realms unseen,
Can you fathom what lies between?

That's really cool, Nika. I love that reversal of fortunes. Gotta pin that.Â

Thank you)
Great work! I think like stone, glass absorbs us, even when we let go and see only a mirror of dust.
Oh, I like this! This very idea could be drawn out into a horror story. (Bear with) A mirror drinks in all it sees, and feels, from a person, or thing, staring into it. But the mirror sees only darkness and it reflects it all spews it all onto the next person who looks into it. Now there's a good reason not to look into a mirror if ever there was!
This is a great piece, Nika. Imagination at it’s best. Happy writings! Greetings, BÂ
