Mirror Soul

Enter my spirit. Trespass the grounds of hell. Indeed, open
Father’s soul: exploit mother’s hate. [Selah]
Invoke Spirit: wage war: trek marsh: wail the cave. Such
Flame, a crooked mind; and we dare feign repentance. [Selah]
My tears, a fortress: pang, a palace; and we dare plead mercy.
My oath, a fountain storm; and I relish the epiphany. [Selah]
Such resilience, a source of hate; and such contempt, a
Crooked mind. But debt’d soul, a fire faith; and hardened
Shell, a taste of death. [Selah] I beg of Pharaoh, ignore the
Signs. Indeed, condemn the fallen: awake the pearls; and
Ponder fate. [Selah] Such tallness: the trees cannot see;
And such royalty: the dogs eat crumbs; and there I pant,
Gnawing rug. [Selah] Indeed, a diamond shattered, adrift the
Blood. And we dare feign perfection: we dare cast stones.
