Misguided Ghost

That wretched feeling,
That wretched screaming...
“Doctor, is my love still breathing?”
Love begotten,
love for now.
Love forever,
yet love so how?
Your wails do deafen...
Oh darling, I'm crying for you to be healed,
come back to me!
Lest I be fined and concealed,
come back to me, come back now...
For real.
The heavens have blessed us,
so now; come now!
Come now to reveal to me that my wishes are real!
That wretched tone,
That wretched moan...
“Doctor... Is my love still bleeding?”
Love eternal,
love to death.
Love forever,
yet love no less.
Pain no more for the girl I once knew,
all through my soul, I could feel her hue.
I, but a man who knows not what to do,
who has lost his beloved, on the day that he knew.
On the day he remembered, where he'd been before.
In his terrors of nightmares of devilish lore.
Where he sought a wet tomb, not far from deaths door,
where he drowns in his sorrows, and his soul left on shore.
We all begin in the ocean,
so must we all end in those depths.
We all must die, this we accept,
whether it be unexpected, or with the gun that you kept.
We all have our demons, we try to reject.
We all pray to something we can't all respect,
and sometimes, we get weak.
We're only human, and life's too hard for us to seek
the answers we need to stay on our feet.

Some of the rhymes seem forced and the write doesn't make me feel as though I've learned anything for reading it! The pattern is not constant so the flow is off. Misguided Ghost seems a little misguided. I am not sure what the author was trying to get across. There is something here and with some work this could be a good poem, AnthonyÂ
