Mistakes

( This poem is another from years ago )

In my life a fatal error I did make.
 
That made my love for you seem fake.
 
In that fault your heart I did break.
 
If only another chance you could take.
 
I would like to correct that one mistake.
 
 
What I want to say is could you?
 
What I'm trying to say is would you?
 
What I'm hoping for is should you?
 
Love me! Love him!! Love me!!!
 
 
 All I want is to correct one fatal mistake.
