Mistletoe Atop My Headboard-The Next Day

I was feeling rather exasperated, I thought my girlfriend would be mad at me;

But the next morning on that Christmas, she called all full of glee!

She said she was cooking us a country ham, with lots of “goodies” too;

She said, “Come over about one p.m., for I can’t wait to be with you”!

At just the given hour, I knocked on her front door;

It opened and my jaw dropped down, and almost hit the floor!

She was clad in just a sheer nightgown, with nothing underneath;

She smiled and then she kissed me, under the mistletoe and holly wreath!

She saw my look of bewilderment, then took my hand and said;

“I just wanted it to be my own idea, the first time that we would bed”.

An hour later we came back out, and drank some nice white wine;

We ordered in some Chinese food, and then loved a second time!
