MITZEE

Waiting for Mitzee the cat as I sleep
To curl up upon me at night by my feet
Remember you through my childhood days
Guinea pigs
The shed
The smell of fresh hay
Fairy dust being sprinkled amongst friends
Jumping and climbing
Driving family round the bend
The street out front was a different world
Making purfume with roses
With some of the girls! Â
The ice cream van and its jingling bells
I liked the oysters and the candyfloss smells
Water fights with the parents
Through the long Summer days
The hiding places we played in and made
Climbing the wall
Spiderman webs
Fixing Matthews bike
I broke my leg
Cousin Julia and her fresh eggs
Noel and Tracy
My first cigarette!
The crescent above and memories so true
At the start of our life's
Quickthorn Crescent
With you :)
