Molten Anger

Molten Anger

I am a volcano
You should see the signs before I erupt
You should be able to tell
Be able to know
But you ignore the facts
You don’t back away
Why the fuck won’t you back away
As things around us jumble aroundĀ
You stay
Goddammit you stay
Even as my insides start to burn
The fire in me starts to churn
You settle where I’m about to blow
And I’ll erupt
No mercy in the path of my Ā scorching angerĀ
I cryĀ
My ashes all over the groundĀ
A good relationship lost before my eyes
Suffocating by all the things I bottled up inside
Ā
