Poem -

To Mom

You gave me life
As a child you gave me food, shelter and love
You picked me up when I fell
As a pre-teen you saw me change
You still loved me
As a teen you saw me turn into a monster
You still loved me
I lied, stole, and hurt you
But you still didn't give up on me
I put you through hell
Yet you still gave me love, even if it was from a distance
Despite everything you still gave me and Jessy all the things needed to live
That is the definition of a mother
Devoted and caring until the end
That is exactly what you are
I cannot think of a mother as loving, caring and devoted as you
Happy mothers day
