A Moment in Sadness

Sadness comes over me,
like a morning horizon.
I have no tears,
as my eyes feel like two sandy desert islands.
My emotions are numb,
as if they've been dipped in ice cold water.
So where do I begin,
if the origin of my sadness has no foundation.
So I stare into the sky looking for answers,
I just know I aint happy at this moment,
because my heart & body feels like a broken chipped porcelain dolly,
Wanting to be loved,
is preventing my sadness to reach the top of the mountain,
and plant that flag saying i've triumphed happiness.
this moment of sadness has consumed my functioning world,
no tears of a clown,
working hard not to frown,
I will have to pick myself up,
hope not to drown,
in a pool of misery,
dragging myself down into an abyss,
full of question marks,
looking for answers to questions which do not exist.
I will shine a light on my soul,
a burning candle to my darkness,
I am a fractured angel,
looking for my halo,
I will find it soon,
when I realise my life,
is more than just this physical life on earth but is present in other dimensions.
in peoples hearts of strangers, friends and family.
A vortex of thoughts,
I cant suppress,
I will shake these feelings off once I truly learn to love one self.
