Poem -
Moments
We don't live lives; we live moments and most of us walk through them without a second thought.
Not once stopping to think that we can't go back and live that moment ever again.
And one day, life will be over and someone you know will stand in front of friends and loved ones to retell not a life, but a moment in which maybe they shared with you.
So, in the end, it all comes down to moments we made into memories worth reliving.
So stop for just a moment and make a memory.

This is my first attempt at posting anything that I have written; thus, I really appreciate the time you took to make a comment. I am truly a novice at attempting to write poetry and other forms of literature. I am unsure how and where to get started and do not have have a firm understanding of all the various forms of poetry, etc. I am sure this came across in my poem.
I read over your poems and can certainly tell that you have been writing for some time and really seem to know a great deal. I would certainly appreciate any input and words of wisdom you might have to offer.
