Mona Lisa

Mona Lisa

Oh Mona Lisa how saddened does your picture portray ?
I heard at only fifteen you were wed off to a slave trader
Oh at least that’s what they say !

Your picture is the most expensive one  by a mile
I wonder, had you known this at the time, would you wear a smile?

£620 million, that’s how much you are worth!
It is the most valuable painting that’s ever been on our Earth

You married into great wealth although you did not care less
So all the money in our world won’t bring us happiness
