Monster

Monster is a desired term

Maybe not by all, probably not even by many

But those few whom are covered in scars, scabs, and bruises and burns

... To them, Monster is a desirable thing to be called

Freak is boring. Creep is just as lame. Disgusting is too over played.

Monster is looked up to

Monsters harm all, or at least a group

Disgusting, creepy freaks are only looked upon as beings that only harm one

A monster can divide and spread toils as they move through life

A monster had the ability to change everything

A monster can change a life

Whether it be food or bad, they can still change

Those beings you call freaks, and creeps, and disgusting

They don't care

They will change the world, for good or for bad, they know not

Nor do they care, for soon... they'll be monsters

And they'll be destroying, instead of being destroyed.
