The Monster In Me

The Monster In Me

Looking in the mirror,

I cringe at what I see,

A monster with red eyes

And cruel. jagged teeth...

Looking in the mirror,

I see a tear that falls.

Seeing an abomination,

that makes my skin crawl...

The darkness comes to comfort me,

it soothes my soul,

it lingers in my heart...

I feel as if I'm being torn apart.

Trapped between the light

and the blackest night

How can I save myself from being me?

I want to extinguish my life,

and be able to feel free..
