Monsters

They say there are no such thing as monsters,
but that couldn't be further from the truth.
The monsters surround us, 
they're apart of our everyday lives.
They possess our bodies making us do irrational things,
leading some to their deaths, 
and others down a dark path.
They consume our very souls without us ever having realized.
They are inescapable, for they are our emotions.
