MOON, SKY AND STAR

 
When my day is done I will look at the moon
Cast my eye and know you were taken so soon
A life gone but not forgotten in the month of June
I guess God knows why as he calls the tune 

When my day is done I will look at the sky 
Cast my eye and obviously wonder why
You were taken and too young to die 
Friendship like yours money cannot buy 

When my day is  done I will look at the giant star
Cast my eye knowing you're watching from afar
My heart will always carry this awful scar
