More than a Crush

I wish upon a twig, for light, the fount of God. Such sparkle,
My purple rain; and heart to prayer, my casket flame. Thus
The vignette, etched in blood; and thus the soul, a torrent
Flood. And faith to pain, my burning storm, adrift the waves—
Of mystic form. The depth of life, her delphic eyes, a touch
Of grief, and graphic cries. And sudden joy, the ache of
Breath, a lustful tear, the height of kef. And nestled deep, my
Passion flame, the art of scars, and speckled shame.
I wish upon a twig, for light, the fount of God. Such petals,
My florid prayers; and heart to soul, my floral pain. Thus the
Canvas, a stippled shrine, and thus the pulse, the hands of
Time. And bleeding life, my magnet flare, the taste of love,
And fleeting tares. And wings to flight, her riddled soul, my
Aching heart, and truths untold. Â

I thank you, Williamsji.
Very intense description, amazing how we wish on small things to become something greater. Sometimes, they do. Great piece.
