More Time For Love

Aren't you listening can't you here there cries dont you see the misery in all thier lives
all of them becoming just skin and bones, no one to feed them all with no homes
What has become of the land of the plenty, the heart of the world has become
So empty.
Too many people with signs in thier hands, asking for help in the promise land
Mothers, fathers, children I see how much longer will they have to need
Something has to change, something must be done
It's time to heal America number one.

Drugs in the school's the future all getting high,
guns in the streets where the innocent all die
corruption fills the room like the smog in the sky

The forests are diminishing, poison fish in the sea
The ozone layer thinning, let the sun shine on me
Farmlands getting smaller making room for concreat
No more planting crops but oh how pretty the streets
Money for weapons but no one to fight
inflation running rapid the debt out of sight
happiness is a thought just a dream in the nigh
what's to become of the American plight.

We can't recapture missed moments
gone like flowers that died in the frost
oh such a price when it's wasted away

Do we live in a world with no answers
can we not feel for another in dispair
nothing eles can possibly matter

we can stop children going hungry to bed
there's much more to life than dying
actions worth more than words said.
Kindness dosn't cost a penny
and love is always given for free
open eyes are blinded by vision
but hearts that can feel will see.
