Poem -
Morning Blues
Sometimes, when I awaken
I feel so weak, so small
I wish I could remain
In this comfortable slumber
Where I could reshape what's gone wrong
Like a potter's wheel, with soft morning clay
But then the wistful touch
Of morning's breath
Opens my eyes to the gentle reminder
Of all the fragile days I've had
I rise to my feet
And I recall
Each and every
Precious,
God-given day
And so,
I grab my guitar from its place
And I begin to play
The music
That is
My life...

but as i read through i can see that you thank god for theย
day you have awoken to they are precious.ย i have been thinking this wayย
aย lot lately when i wake i think i`m still here thank god for anotherย
day as we get older and withย illness its so good to beย alive and kicking
so to speak:-)
