Morning Fragrance

Morning Fragrance

In the middle of the night
She could see the stars so high
Dark whispers of unknown
She could see the shades of all.

Creatures of the woods
Caught her song into their roots
They whisper between their leaves
Her melodic words of gleam.

Red hair, golden orbs
Dancer of the burning folds
Fragrance lingers, little whispers
The melody of the fallen rivers.

Her voice sang upon the wind
The magic that holds her life within
Her heart broke the shades of green
The love of her morning gleam.
