Morning Intervals Of Sleep

Morning Intervals Of Sleep

Golden gaze
Unsheathes dewdrops clouded with fallen night Stars
Wildflowers blooming along the sea caves
Reaching wearily for that first light
Amber and sapphire waves intertwine
Crashing into the shore made of glass
Sea glass decorating the barren haze
Rocky, tangerine cliff sides
Footpaths to the horizon
The Beach of Paradise
Languishing later in the mid afternoon sun
Coating my skin in warmth
Covering my heart with peace
Silent verses hang in dreams
Seeding themselves into small bonfires
Giving plenty to the hungry of mind
Peacefully I lay on my little beach
Until the morning alarm may go off again
