MORNING SONG

When morning breathes its first breath 
Nights gripping fear is broken 
The dawning of a new day laughs
 At darkness fleeting shadow  
Melody fills the atmosphere 
As birds and insects harmonize 
Sparrows empty themselves 
Of choruses only known to angles 
The softness of the dew 
Resting on leaves longing for 
It's sweet and gentle caress 
The sun peeking in a cloud shaded distance 
And I.. 
Awakened by an Angels touch 
Smiles at the awesomeness 
Of a magnificent Creator 
Whose love and kindness 
Has allowed me to enjoy 
The dawning of a new day 
And the melodious sonnet of winged creatures.
