Morning Sun

What are we,
just suffering souls?
What do we know,
just pain alone?
You can't open your eyes
"Shut the gates,
In my cage
i am safe,
darkness is all I know
and all I'll ever see,
there's no hope
please leave me be."
But look
I say
light is shining though your eyelids
Open your eyes
and see
the morning sun has come,
You made it another day
stronger than before.
