Morning

So elegant: and so quick: my scented love; and such rain, a

Dripping palm; for love, a gem; and heart, a pearl. Such

Symbol: a tree of cedar; and such oath, a trefoil prayer.

She grips the earth; and scratches dreams; and proffers

Hope. The day, so fraught with light; and dawn, so

Fraught with green; and such red, a yellow orange. Such

Songs of love: such holy love; and we nurture such love.  

What is such feeling: this marvelous feeling: to capture

Motion; and torn is life: such marvelous life: our grief.

I turn and squirm and love and die, and life to live, a need

To fly; and petals pearl, a purple rose; and bleeding love,

The knit of prose. Such a voice: to capture night; and

Silken stars, a brilliant sight; and broken bread, a sacred

Sign: the tent of love, blood and brine.
