Poem -

MOTHER

MOTHER

Mother,

Ooh! Mother,

The wife of my father,

My heart’s silk feather,

I wish I could see you.

Away,

You have gone away,

Distant from my way,

Leaving me in dismay,

I cannot enjoy,

Without seeing you.

Pain,

You’ve left me pain,

Of a burning chain,

For I to train,

I cannot maintain,

I’ve really missed you.

Death,

Ooh your death,

Destructed my health,

And ate my strength,

As I made an oath,

Of praying for you.

Heart,

Ooh my heart,

Has torn apart,

Without an alert,

Of what to insert,

When am without you.

Time,

It is only time,

Which made this rhyme,

Completely prime,

I’ll do no crime,

Cause I love you.
